La Roux Returns with 'Trouble in Paradise,' Shares New Song

Earlier this spring, Elly Jackson's synth-pop act La Roux announced that it would be touring North America in support of a then-unannounced album. Now, she has shared the details of the impending collection.
The album is called Trouble in Paradise and it will be released on July 7 through Polydor in the UK and the date after in North America on Cherrytree/Interscope. It was made with co-producer Ian Sherwin.
The album cover is above. Scroll past the tracklist and updated tour schedule below to hear the single "Let Me Down Gently." The first minute or so feature pillowy synths and dramatic vocals before a cinematic beat enters and the arrangement pushes towards a danceable climax.
This is La Roux's first album since 2009's self-titled LP. The rarities collection Gold Edition followed in 2011.
