The director of new Anthony Bourdain documentary Roadrunner has shared a massive playlist packed with more than 300 of the late celebrity chef's favourite songs.

The playlist, which you can hear below via Spotify, opens with the Modern Lovers' "Roadrunner" before playing throughs selections from Parliament-Funkadelic, Gang of Four, Todd Rundgren, David Bowie, Bad Brains, Patti Smith, Bill Withers, Curtis Mayfield, Isaac Hayes, Brian Eno, Mark Lanegan, Kendrick Lamar and many more.

As far as Canadian selections go, Women's "Penal Colony" and Leonard Cohen's "Everybody Knows" can be found among the list.

"When I started making the documentary Roadrunner, pretty much the first thing I did was to put together a playlist of all the music that Tony mentioned," director Morgan Neville writes of the undertaking. "I kept adding songs he mentioned in books, interviews, Instagram stories, and more. I ended up with about 18-and-a-half hours of music. Recently, I checked with some of Tony's friends and they added a few more in. It makes one hell of a jukebox."
