Carlos Santana Now Has His Own Cannabis Brand
Carlos Santana is the latest guitar hero to enter the world of legal cannabis, with the announcement of his new brand Mirayo.

Santana shared the news on social media yesterday (September 22), writing that Mirayo is "inspired by [his] Latin heritage." While an online presence for the company has yet to be built out, a Facebook page promises "sungrown cannabis cultivated with artisanal craft and traditional patience."

Mirayo's Facebook page also points to the involvement of Left Coast Ventures, a California-based company that already boasts music-centric cannabis partnerships with Grateful Dead drummer Micky Hart and Bob Marley's estate.

Santana had filed a trademark application for the Mirayo name earlier this year, while Left Coast teased an initial lineup of products that includes flower, pre-rolls and topicals with traditional formulations inspired by Santana's own family.

"When we discover and follow our one-of-a-kind symmetry, the world shines," Santana wrote in sharing the news. "By lifting veils of illusion and stress, cannabis opens corridors to divine wisdom, universal oneness and the treasure of our individuality."

Santana released his Africa Speaks album last year.
