Here's the First Trailer for Seth Rogen's 'An American Pickle'
In May, we learned that Seth Rogen's An American Pickle would arrive on HBO Max this summer, and the Canadian's latest comedy now has its first trailer.

The trailer offers up a look at both of Rogen's two lead characters, opening first with Herschel Greenbaum. The 1920s labourer leaves for America in search of a better life, before falling in a vat of pickling brine at his factory job and becoming preserved for 100 years.

After emerging from the briny depths in modern New York, Herschel works to find his present-day great-grandson Ben Greenbaum — also played by Rogen — to find out how much the world has changed in his absence.

An American Pickle was directed by Brandon Trost and also stars Sarah Snook, Maya Erskine, Jorma Taccone and Sean Whalen. The film is based on the 2013 New Yorker series Sell Out by Simon Rich and arrives on HBO Max August 6.
